Content Policy

Rafeeeq (رفيق) is a private app for families and small trusted groups. Your space is not a public social network — only people you invite can see what is shared inside it. This policy explains what is not allowed, how to report a problem, and what we do about it. It applies to everyone in a Rafeeeq space, including adults, teens, children, and household helpers.

1. Our promise
Rafeeeq has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We built Rafeeeq to bring families closer — that only works when everyone is safe and respected.
2. What is not allowed
Do not create, post, share, or send content that is:
- Abusive or harassing — insults, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any member
- Hateful — attacks based on religion, nationality, ethnicity, gender, or similar
- Sexual or explicit — sexual content of any kind. Any sexual content involving a minor is reported to the authorities without exception
- Violent or threatening — threats of harm to a person, or content promoting violence
- Harmful to children — content that exploits, endangers, or is inappropriate for the children in a family space
- Illegal — content that breaks the law, including the laws of the State of Kuwait
- Deceptive or impersonating — pretending to be someone you are not, or defrauding another member
- Privacy-violating — sharing another person's private information without their consent
3. How to report a problem
Every comment has a Report button. You can also mute any member so you no longer see their content, and a space admin can remove a member from the space entirely.
Reports go to a trained Rafeeeq moderation team — not to the head of your family or anyone else in your space. You can report safely and privately, so no one has to choose between speaking up and keeping the peace at home.

4. What we do about it
We review every report, and we act within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we may:
- Remove the content
- Give the member a warning
- Temporarily suspend the member's access
- Permanently remove the member's account from Rafeeeq
Serious violations — especially anything that endangers a child — can lead to immediate permanent removal and, where the law requires, a report to the relevant authorities.
5. A note on children
Children in a Rafeeeq space are under the care of their guardian. Guardians agree to this policy on their child's behalf and are responsible for their child's use of the app. We give guardians tools to manage their family, and we act quickly on anything that puts a child at risk.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make an important change, we will ask you to agree to it again in the app. The current version and effective date are always shown at the top of this page.
